Terms, privacy and refunds

1. Who you are dealing with

MoonBrain is sold by RGR Professional Management Consultancy FZCO, DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("MoonBrain", "we"). Contact: hello@moonbrain.ai. MoonBrain is not affiliated with Anthropic or Obsidian.

2. What you buy

One install: a 60-minute personal call in which we set up the MoonBrain system (a plain-text vault, playbooks and a seven-day starter board) on your own computer, paid once. Then a monthly subscription that covers system updates, fixes, text support within one working day and access to new playbooks. Extra calls, support for changes you make outside the system and your own AI subscription are not included.

3. Payment

Payment is handled by Stripe. Prices are in USD. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. The install fee and the first month are charged at checkout; the subscription renews monthly on the same date until you cancel. Founding-customer pricing, where offered, stays at the stated monthly price for as long as the subscription runs without interruption.

4. Your responsibilities

You bring a Mac or Windows computer you are allowed to install software on, Obsidian, a Claude subscription with Claude Desktop, and one hour for the call. You are responsible for the instructions you give your AI agent, for reviewing its drafts before anything is sent, and for complying with your own employment contracts, client agreements and local law. MoonBrain sells capacity, not legal or employment advice.

5. Licence

You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the MoonBrain system files on your own machines for your own work. You may modify them freely. You may not resell, redistribute or publish the system or its playbooks. Everything you write into your vault is yours.

6. Cancellation

Cancel any time through the Stripe customer portal link in your receipt, or by email. Your subscription ends at the close of the paid month. You keep the vault and everything in it; you stop receiving updates and support. We may end the subscription with one month's notice, refunding any unused period.

7. Liability

The system runs on your computer and acts on your instructions. We are not liable for the content your AI agent produces, for emails or documents you approve and send, or for loss of data on your machine. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the monthly changelog before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Consumers in the EU keep the protections of their home country.

What we collect

• Name, email and billing details you enter at checkout. Stripe processes the payment; we never see your full card number.
• The time slot and the name and email you enter in the booking tool for the install call.
• Emails you send us for support, and our replies.
• Anonymous page statistics (page views, country, referrer). No cookies, no cross-site tracking.

What we do not collect

The contents of your vault, your mail, your cards, your learning log or anything your AI agent reads or writes. The system runs locally. The only data that leaves your machine goes to your own AI provider (Claude, under your own Anthropic account and its privacy terms). During the install call you may share your screen; we do not record calls and keep no copy of what we see.

Why we use it

To take payment, deliver the install call, send you monthly updates and answer support questions. We send no marketing email beyond the monthly changelog, which is part of the subscription you pay for.

Who else processes it

Stripe (payments, invoices, tax), the booking tool (calendar and reminder emails), our email provider and our hosting provider. Each acts under its own privacy terms and only for the purpose above. We do not sell data.

How long we keep it

Billing records for as long as tax law requires. Support emails for the life of your subscription plus twelve months. Booking data until the call has happened. Ask and we delete the rest.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and receive a copy. Write to hello@moonbrain.ai. We answer within one working day and act within 30 days. If you are in the EU you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Install fee

If we cannot get your Brain working on the install call, the install fee is refunded in full and the subscription is cancelled before it renews. You pay nothing. Once the system is installed and has run a task on your machine, the install is delivered and the fee is not refundable.

Monthly subscription

Cancel any time; you keep access to updates and support until the end of the paid month. Months already started are not refunded. If we fail to deliver a monthly update or to answer a support question within the promised time, ask and we refund that month.

Missed calls

You can reschedule the install call up to 24 hours before it starts, at no cost. If you miss the call without notice, one free rebooking is included. If we miss it, you choose a new slot and your first month is free.

EU consumers

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By booking an install call inside those 14 days you ask us to start the service early; if the install is completed, the install fee is then due in full and the withdrawal right no longer applies to it. The subscription can still be cancelled at any time.

How to ask

Email hello@moonbrain.ai from the address you used at checkout. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
